Übersetzung) und Compilern (
schneller Ablauf des kompilierten Programms) zu vereinen. Sie werden z. B. bei der Programmentwicklung eingesetzt, die in einer interpreternahen
Umgebung stattfindet und deren Endprodukt kompiliert wird, oder bei Programmiersprachen, deren Quellprogramme compilerartig in einen Zwischencode und später interpreterartig in
Maschinensprache umgesetzt werden. Java ist eine solche Programmiersprache.
